Migrating a Danish beverage brand from Shopware to Shopify with full B2B and B2C support
A platform holding them back
BEVCO is a Danish beverage company with a broad product catalogue and an established customer base across both B2C and B2B. Their existing Shopware setup could no longer keep up: it lacked the flexibility to handle complex B2B flows, product bundling and the delivery requirements that came with operating at their scale. It was not just limiting their day-to-day operations; it was slowing their growth.
The goal was a full migration to Shopify, a redesigned digital experience built from BEVCO's existing identity, and an architecture capable of supporting both sides of the business without compromising either.
One platform, two customer bases
We led the full migration from Shopware to Shopify and optimised and built a new custom frontend grounded in Bevco's existing storefront experience.
The project covered the entire stack: from preparing Figma files and theme setup to migrating product data, collections, metadata and two years of order and customer history across both B2C and B2B. The frontend included product cards, category pages, PDP, search and filter functionality, and a geo-based country selector.
The B2B setup encompassed customer and company migration, custom price lists per company, invoice payment, and ex-VAT pricing. Credit limit logic was developed at the company level, with automated notifications triggered when a new B2B order was evaluated against the company's current spend relative to their assigned credit maximum.
On the integration side, the platform was connected to Smartpack for shipping management, Klaviyo for email marketing, Zuzana.ai for customer service automation, Trustpilot for review collection and Storebuddy for automatic invoice. Beyond that, the project included age verification, conversion tracking, product feed setup and full DNS management at go-live.
