A growing confectionery brand limited by its platform
Karamel Kompagniet is a well known Danish confectionery brand with a strong presence across ecommerce, B2B sales and physical retail stores.
The existing Umbraco based setup was no longer able to support the brands operational complexity or growth ambitions. Managing B2C, B2B and POS as separate systems created friction across teams and limited scalability. At the same time, data consistency, inventory handling and sales workflows required a more unified and reliable foundation.
The goal was to consolidate all commerce activities into a single platform that could support ecommerce, wholesale and retail while improving internal workflows and future readiness.
